I have been (and still am) ill for most of the week with woman-flu (which is obviously 50 times worse than man-flu). Now my sinuses are getting blocked and painful and on getting up for a bath this morning, I had a dizzy spell, so I'm not ready to re-join the world yet, it seems. K and I have both been ill and have felt as if the whole world went on holiday without telling us. Honestly, where does everyone GO all day?? Well, work I suppose, but it really seemed to me as if there was no other human being within 50 miles of us. We felt alone. Abandoned. God, I'll be glad when I have fully recovered and can GO OUT!!!
